Eero Saarinen: Shaping the Future is the first retrospective on the Finnish-born architect, whose buildings and furniture transformed 20th-century architecture and design and continue to inform visual culture today.

Following its presentation in Helsinki, the exhibition will travel to museums in Brussels, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Oslo, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C., ending its tour in New Haven, Connecticut, in 2010, the centennial of Saarinen’s birth.
